Blog2016 ≫ Festive but foggy day out on Saturday

We did a christmas thing, a the Canterbury Tales. number two son was particularly excited by it, going to from room to room in this strange exhibition talking to the elves and seeing santa and so on. We took a family photo in there:

and the boys got some traditional wooden toys, including a cup and ball which was strangely satisfying. After we had a great but slow lunch in Zizzi and Mum and Dad paid for it, splendid.

We mooched around the christmas market, no sign of Paul Babra this time but we got some ace chutney from Cherry Tree including some horseradish, all vegan. Normally people pad out horseradish with dairy products but this one is great.

Really really really foggy drive home, it was extreme, just about no visibility. We were relying on lights of other cars and the sat nav. Very slow going.

Dad and I went in B&Q on the way back and I got the last few door handles they had. I still don't have enough for the whole house, I'll have to pay full price for a set from Dover B&Q.

5k: Five kilometres, just over three miles to you.
