Got some genuine bargains at our b&q which is closing down. They have dug out some dust old light wave rf home automation kit from somewhere, they do not normally stock it at the Folkestone branch. Maybe these were returns or just samples that were forgotten in a store room but either way I've got some deals. Picked up two master switches, these are like a multi function remote control that fits in the place of a normal light switch but needs no wiring, has a battery that lasts for years. Marked up at 12, I looked then up online and they should be 35 now. I have a couple already and paid at least 25. At the till they were another 50% off so only 6quid, nice. I went back later and got a few more bits including led lights from the same range and a pir, just fitted this in the shoe cupboard so it lights up when you go in there. As a completely useless bonus I can turn the shoe cupboard lights on with the phone or computer now, but maybe more usefully I can make sure they're off (saving energy) when we leave the house. Also in theory add that bit of the house as a logged security zone. .

Got new door handles to match the ones I'd slowly started replacing, down from 16 to 4.20 and a couple more USB sockets for 12.
