Blog2016 ≫ Hey Pebble did respond to my support request! Oh...

Paul Clarke Subject: the screen has gone on my pebble steel DEC 07, 2016 | 09:36AM PST Andy replied: Thanks for your email--we apologize for the delayed response.

As of December 6, 2016, Pebble is no longer operating as an independent entity and has shut down regular operations. We are no longer manufacturing, promoting, or selling any new devices or products, and one-to-one support is no longer available via email or other channels.

Please see below to find out what this means for you, and please visit www.blog.getpebble.com/2016/12/07/fitbit/ for the details on the change in operations.

Kickstarter backers whose reward(s) have not shipped (Time 2, Core, Time Round and Pebble 2 pledges which were never finalized) will automatically be refunded their pledges, plus any shipping, taxes, or duties paid for the unshipped units. Please visit help.pebble.com for more detais on the refunds.

Pre-orders for Pebble 2 and Time 2 wont be fulfilled. Since no payment was collected for pre-orders, they will simply be canceled. You may have seen a hold on your account after placing the order, but this was a temporary authorization that was then released.

Pebble watches in the wild will continue to work, but are no longer covered by or eligible for warranty exchange. Users looking for more detail, or to troubleshoot their Pebbles can still visit our Help Portal and community resources:

Finally, thank you for your support and enthusiasm from everyone at Pebble. Best, Andy DEC 05, 2016 | 04:15AM PST Original message Paul wrote:

Hi the screen on my pebble steel has gone! The display is kind of shredded, here's a picture goo.gl/photos/BFnt3yaUKVwzxASU95 - it has done this occasionally in the past but pressing buttons to change the screen makes it go away. This time it's worse, much more insistent. There was a software update yesterday and I wonder if that has affected it? What can I do about it? I've had this less than two years (Amazon Ordered on 11 February 2015 Order # 202-1224062-3121918)

I managed without a watch for twenty-five years or so, I can manage again!
