It's a two day job at least, I've taken it in to Volksfarmers and they're going to take it for MOT. Means if anything is up (ha) it will be done by someone sympathetic to ancient air-cooled VWs...
I think the front tyres need replacing, they're not balding but have a curiously different pattern to those on the back it's a lot smoother. Possibly it's rubbing on the wings, but maybe that's just how those tyres wear out. They're bigger tyres than normal on bigger wheels. I've said if they need replacing, please put the original sized tyres back on the original wheels. Wonder how different that will look / feel...
