Blog2016 ≫ Fitbit got in touch about my missing fitbit

I was searching for it on the twitter, it fell off on my way into The View Hotel, did they find it? No they did not, but Fitbit support then reached out to me "hey contact our support we'll see what we can do". This sounds good, are they going to offer me a freebie, what great customer support? Instead they offered me some advice:

Thanks but it was more than 24 hours ago and obviously the battery doesn't last that long so these won't work. They did say "if not, email us back" so hopefully they can do something for me... unlikely to offer a freebie though are they?

In the meantime I'm using Misfit on my pebble, its a harder taskmaster though sure I have to walk further to get the same number of steps. I still hit the 10,000 though and hopefully will do again today. I'm on 7440 so far and about to leave work. Will have to go out for a walk again before dinner.
