Got a day off, a few days off actually, Clare is off to Ireland for a funeral. We can't all go because of school, but it's going to take three days, so I'm off. Just tried to fix a dripping tap, figured it out and got most of the way there but I can't get the tap valve off, it seems to have siezed. Put everything back together and tightened up it's not dripping now anyway. I'm sure it'll be back, and I'll have to get a plumber. Still, I have not flooded the house. Yet.
I should say more about the death of Clare's uncle, he's John Mahon, Jim's youngest brother, it's tragic. Hard to know what to say though. He just about made it to his daughter's wedding a few weeks ago, but no further. RIP.
