Enjoyed my day off today, though did not really achieve anything. Tried to fix the dripping tap, may have done, remains to be seen. Intended to go to DIY stores but ran out of time. Tried to get mine and thing two's hair cut but ran out of time - we were cutting it fine (no pun intended) but had an hour before having to pick Harry up from school, might just do it... but there was a big queue, so no chance. I can go myself tomorrow maybe, or might wait and take just thing two Friday morning after taking Thing one to school. I did go to Thing one's assembly at school today. Parents are maybe always invited, it's a bit religious though. They did a modern take on the good samaritan. Number one son was a football fan who got beaten up but then was helped by a rival fan.
Anyway having started the next weekend early (I'm off until Monday) it reminded me I'd not written up last weekend. And I don't remember it all now. Did Clare work on Saturday or something? I remember Sunday, we took the beetle to Volksfarmers to get the hand brake fixed. Then went on to lunch in Canterbury, a disappointing one actually, a dry pizza express. I must remember not to go back there, the Canterbury one is never up to scratch. Did a little bit of shopping, mostly browsing, Christmas ideas. Picked the car up on the way home again and really pleased with the service, what a nice place! I will go back again, need more stuff done.
Boys are watching Pokemon on TV, glued to it, I hope this is not the start of something.
