It's the American Robot Wars and I found it on one of the obscure channels, Pick maybe? Not watched much yet, it's quite a different presenting style and I think they have different safety rules (one of the competitors had a flame thrower) but it provides a Robot Wars fix. For me, and hopefully the boys too.
I have bought tickets for Robots Live in Portsmouth next year, though it clashes with a work event for Clare so I hope we can all travel OK. Maybe we'll go on the train...
