Seemed a bit off to me, but a complex issue. Anastacia was injured and had to change her dance, so she did badly and ended up in the bottom two. Melvin Odoom was also bottom, hadn't heard of him before. Anastacia was too injured to do the dance off "the next day" (remember they film it all in one go on the Saturday but show the dance off the following day for added tension). So there was no dance off, and Melvin went out as he was the lowest. If it wasn't for the fact there was no dance off you'd say he should have left anyway as he was worst and least popular. But you'd also say "that's not fair" as she did not dance, so she should have gone. BUT then her injury involved mastectomy scar damage so that adds a whole extra layer. It was well complicated. Ed Balls was very good though.
