Blog2016 ≫ Big Premier Inn breakfast and off to the Tower of London

⬆️We are back from London we had a great weekend

We didn't get moving too early, it was a relaxing trip, and we had a large relaxing breakfast. We planned to stuff ourselves and then not have to stop for lunch. We were expecting rain today and it started just as we were planning to leave. Considered changing our plans but I talked us all into sticking with the Tower of London. It was great, if a bit damp, very interesting, lots of fun walking around looking at stuff. I think I've lost some photos as I know we saw some Harry Clarke graffiti. Not related to Harry or Harry the artist of course, but a prisoner there in the 1500s, still funny to see, even though it's not a very rare name. My pictures are here1 but that one is not there. Aha, still on my phone for some reason. Does this show? Otherwise it's with the other photos1...

I really enjoyed it, I think the boys thought it was interesting too. Number two son's favourite bit seems to have been a modern water fountain though.

We didn't bother with the queue to see the crown jewels, I don't think the boys would have cared, and personally I don't think they're the real crown jewels on display. Call me a paranoid conspiracy theorist if you like!

From here we headed to Picadilly Circus to meet a friend at Whole Foods.
