Found this1 it might help with what I'm doing, but I might write my own from scratch just for the practice of it. Also I think now I need something that I can use client side and server side, and that I could use to write back to a gedcom file in the same format, not sure if there's anything out there or not. Wondering if I can make something that is more user friendly than myheritage (which Dad has been using) but that we don't have to pay a monthly fee for.
