Blog2016 ≫ Number one son got run over yesterday - apart from that it was a good day

Fool on a pushbike ran into number one son while we were walking through (the 100% pedestrianised part of) Sandgate Road in the centre of Folkestone. Think the guy might have stopped anyway but I flipped and took a few steps after him howling, so he jumped back on his bike and scooted off. Someone else must have stopped him, he eventually came back, mortified. Number one son was ok, just shaken, but he was properly flipped over "like a robot" he said.

Thanks to the staff of Clarks for taking us in while Number one son settled down, and thanks to the other concerned parents with their help and detective work - "he works at Iceland! he was wearing an Iceland uniform!".

Kudos to the guy on the bike for eventually coming back to see if Number one son was ok, but YOU ABSOLUTE PRICK YOU RAN A LITTLE BOY OVER!

Please don't ride your bike through a pedestrianised shopping centre.

Apart from that shake up as I say it was a lovely bank holiday, I'll be back with more details later.

💬 Actually I don't have many more details of the weekend that I've not covered elsewhere
