Blog2016 ≫ Impressive whackings in the Rugby Sevens

I watched the bronze medal match and the final in the olympics rugby sevens last night, so stayed up a bit too late. Both were mighty whackings, South Africa slayed Japan and then England were thorough beaten by Fiji. It's either a strange sort of game or Fiji just had too much time on their hands, it was more like a basketball match. Lots of offloading, though there are less players to pass to than in a full game of rugby. It was like the Harlem Globetrotters had strolled into a game at some points. Fiji were able to stop and look around and think about who to pass to next, surely it shouldn't be like that? Anyway, was good, would have been a better final if South Africa had beaten England. Or, even better, if Japan had somehow beaten Fiji instead.

Starting work very early this morning so I can get away early.

Oh BTW happy anniversary to us, eleven years today!
