Blog2016 ≫ Swimming yesterday

Clare went shoe shopping yesterday and tricked Number one son into going with here with the offer of a pizza hut. We thought it'd be nice to get the boys on their own for a while, give them some quality time, so I went swimming with number two son. It was great, he did really well, suddenly decided he was going to jump in off the side with no holding hands. Just holding on to a little float, and he was very happy. We had a smashing time. Then off to the Harbour Arm for lunch, we had pizza in Follies there and played in the sunshine. I nearly persuaded him to walk as far as Beano's for a pudding, but then he changed his mind. We ran through the fountain for a bit, then back to get the car.

Took the beetle through the car wash for the first time, water came in a bit, possibbly won't do that again... no damage or anything but I'm not sure where it all went so I'll stick to cleaning it by hand.
