Blog2016 ≫ New boiler is nearly in

New boiler being fitted today. Originally told it was going to be a three day job, there's stuff to be done on the roof, a new flue, needs scaffolding and so on. Then it started looking like they'd be done in one day, then some lead was missing for the roof, but now they've found some locally so it might all be done today.

The place is a mess and the smoke alarm keeps going off while they work, and it's a bit cold as all the doors and windows are open, but it's been quite undisruptive really. Power stayed on the whole time, which is good, as I'm wfh. Water is off still, but I'm holding on.

What is the opposite of disruptive then? Ruptive?

Mental news from the usa, guns and hatred.
