Came home to damp stains in the hallway yesterday, our rubbish boiler had leaked. It's been dripping a bit for a few weeks, but yesterday it got worse and now there are leaky stains on the ceiling and the walls. Much stress and shouting about it but we turned the water off and went out for Number one son's birthday dinner anyway.
Called a plumber this morning, luckily first local one I called was available. Was some loose connection inside the boiler. Should have been able to investigate and fix that myself, but not worth me risking it in case I made it worse. 60 callout and all done in about 15 mins!
On to our next disaster...
