Blog2016 ≫ We stayed at the Novotel, Tower Hill

Previously on our little jaunts to London with the boys we've stayed in Greenwich and Kings Cross, but this time we picked Tower Hill. We paid about three hundred quid for the two nights, a family room with breakfast. As always the space is about the same as a double room, but two extra single beds were folded out of somewhere. The bathroom was big, my favourite feature was the push button opaque glass between the room and the bathroom, and the boys loved this too.

We chose this location as we wanted to be convenient for the Natural History Museum and the Thames Clipper. Tower Hill is on the District Line so direct to South Ken so we could be there bright and early, and also it has its own pier for the boat. It's a really nice hotel, pleased with this choice, in a good location too. It's right by the Tower of London, and though we didn't have a view, some of the rooms would. It's just a few steps from the river, lots of restaurants and things nearby and also close to St Katharine's Dock. This was a nice marina to walk around, super yachts galore and also the royal barge. And there's a Waitrose too, this would be a lovely place to live in London.
