While we were checking out restaurants we saw the Dickens Inn, looks a great building, a proper old inn. It's an old wooden beamed warehouse or something. On my first night exploration of local pubs this is the first place I headed too. It's not as good inside as I expected, like a Yates Wine Lodge or something unfortunately. I had a Dickens Ale which was alright, and read the Evening Standard and Time Out. They're both free now!
⬅️ First night we ate at Cafe Rouge, for the last time :: I went in the Cheshire Cheese ➡️
