Following the brief period of planning to build a new swimming pool in Hythe the heat is now back on Princes Parade. The new pool / leisure centre is being used as the sweetener to ease in 150 new houses along the sea front. As I've said before I bet we never even see a new pool, the money will mysteriously run out before that, though the luxury houses will be built.
The Herald has a poll1, most people do not want development on Princes Parade.
Odd thing about the plan on that link, it looks like the road is being moved. It runs along the sea front at the moment, are they really going to move it behind the new houses..?
