WEIRDLY some of my raspberries pi have disappeared off the network - they're still running and sending messages out, but I can't see them on the network. My beer monitor for example is still updating this graphs, but I just can't get on to it:
At some point my home brew beer graph would have appeared here. I haven't done home brew for ages, it doesn't quite seem worthwhile, but maybe in times of austerity it will return.
Having general raspberry pi networking issues at the moment. I upgraded some of them to the new raspbian operating system jessie, and static ip addresses work differently there. So mostly they have a static ip, but they're picking up a dhcp address to that I can't get rid of. Think it's because I'm using a mix of the config that the old version required, and I just have to completely convert to the new way. Or, just give up on the static ip where I don't really need it. I only use them so I can log on to the box easily, and as mentioned above, I can't even do that on the boxes that should be working. It all went wrong when we had a little power cut yesterday morning (or at least our power tripped), perhaps I just need to restart some boxes in the right order...
raspberry pi: Credit card sized super cheap computer, awesome.
