My great-aunt Yvonne's funeral has been arranged for the 29th April. This should have made it easier for me to attend, as it's a Friday so would not have to rush there and back in one day, but

we're going away that day
we booked a non cancellable non amendable hotel deal to save money
if I went Clare would have to take the boys on her own on the train and I meet them there
we can't all go to the funeral because of school

Feeling a bit bad about this but I don't think it can be helped.
