Never mind my 10k by lunchtime that I did yesterday, last night I could not sleep at all, so I got up early and went for a walk. Wish I'd done it even earlier really as I felt in a bit of a rush to get back in time for breakfast. I walked to Hythe along the road, as far as The Bell anyway, then back along the canal. Was lovely, sun just coming up, a bit misty. Not many other people about, but there was one slow jogger on the canal path. I had to detour back on to the road when I could, as I was not far behind them and was walking about as fast as they were jogging, so it felt like I was following them.
Had a nice afternoon at work yesterday shareholders meeting so sitting around drinking wine when I should have been working, lovely. Some really good positive and intersting stuff in the presentations too.
10k: Ten kilometres, about six miles in old money. Sometimes talking about 10,000 steps though, an arbitrary daily step count target.
