Went to the funeral of Clare's aunt Mary Mahon on Tuesday. It was a full Catholic Mass with at least seven priests on at once. Fantastically well attended, she was a popular lady, cannot imagine that sort of number turning up for me. Fascinating to hear about her early life. RIP Mary.
After I picked up the boys from school and took them on to the "reception" at the Grand Hotel where they enjoyed a run around with their cousins. In the evening I met some of the family down The Ship.
