Been to Manchester and Bury for a few days on a stag do. Jolly civilised affair really, up to a point anyway. Much travelling round the heritage East Lancs Railway where there's a great real ale bar at just about every stop. We travelled between Heywood, Bury, Summerseat, Ramsbotton, Irwell Vale, and Rawtenstall. Didn't seem to be much at Irwell Vale but there were good pubs everwhere else, we drank much beer.
