Blog2015 ≫ Another rock'n'roll Saturday night

Clare is at a quiz with work, I'm installing pigpio1. It is literally all go here.

Actually it's working quite smoothly, unlike my recent electronics experiments. All I'm doing here is connecting up some bits I already had and installing someone elses code, but it seems to be working, I can send RF signals direct from the raspberry pi and receive them again. This is the first step towards getting rid of the lightwaverf wifi link box that I have to have plugged into my router. I can get any raspberry pi on the network (with wifi) to do the same thing, so that frees up an ethernet connection, and gives me a bit more flexibility.

raspberry pi: Credit card sized super cheap computer, awesome.
