Always particularly sad for Clare, not knowing when she might see her brother again, living on the other side of the world like that. Hope he comes back here soon, as it'll be hard and expensive for the four of us to go to the USA.
I'm looking at maglites for the boys, is that a foolishly expensive torch to give to tiny children? I suppose really I want a new led one myself, maybe I'll just do that. I have the big 3 cell version, but it's quite old. I've had a couple of the aa style torches before, but lost them both now I think. If I get one here1 I can get it engraved too. Maybe I'll get them for the boys but save them for a couple of years...
It is pay day weekend, I might get a chinese for tea this evening, even though we had quite a big lunch.
Am I prioritising my spending badly, when I could be putting this money away towards foreign travels..?
