Had a splendid meal at Copper and Spices. It's not super vegan optimised, as I feel some Indian type restaurants are, none of the main courses are vegetarian but they are pretty well organised. There's a clear vege side menu, and the dishes that contain dairy are clearly marked. So it's good for vegans in that you know what you can eat for sure, but there's not quite as much as you might usually think there is. Lovely meal anyway, and great company too.
We didn't go to the pub after, we sat in the restaurant all evening.
Went to the bank bar before the meal. Haven't been there since it opened about ten years ago, and I'm not sure it's improved. It's a nice venue, you can sit in the bank vault, but it's not a great pub experience still.
