Heavy rain out there now, though we missed it when I walked the boy to school. It's going to be wet playtimes for them today I think.
WFH today, wrapping up a few things before starting with a new team on Wednesday. Mostly taking the same work to the new team and mostly working on my own so there won't be much of a change. I might move desks, though as we all hot desk it doesn't seem much point. There are two people in the new team and they work in different offices, different to each other and different to me. One is in the UK and one in the USA. I won't be hot desking to the USA though.
Day 12 of not not drinking. Back to not drinking again, yesterday and today so far. Would normally give it a rest until the weekend, and there's a wedding on Friday so that's my booze target. Had plenty over the weekend, Friday and Saturday but will be mostly good for the rest of the month, then see how October goes.
Still have had no coffee all month, except the one that Clare bought me when we went to Ashford last week. I'm not going to give it up, it's just a good little money saver for this month. The not drinking is quite a money saver I would say, it certainly would be if I'd not gone out and bought a couple of big rounds anyway. We would probably buy three bottles of wine over the weekend normally, so it must be saving me 20 each week at least.
