Dean had a big birthday in the week, so we all went out today to Barham, because it's a nice place and there's a great play area there too for the kids. And Dean paid for all our dinners! Thank you buddy!
It's a really nice pub, I'd love it for a local, and the food was really good today too. I think it's much improved since we first went there. Though it rained this morning it had dried up nicely after lunch so everyone got to play in the garden.
Carrying on with the birthday celebration tonight. Clare is at the pub with them now, she's due back in half an hour and then I get to head out. Everyone's going to be half cut before I get there...
I'm watching Ripper Street while Clare is out. This weeks "twist" is SO OBVIOUS from the opening scene. I love this show, but it's pretty cheesy.
