Clare found a cafe to try, the Spitfire, on the way to Dymchurch. It gets fantastic ratings on Trip Advisor, but it's a bit rough and ready and right on the road. Food was good. I say "brunch" because we were aiming for a light lunch, just some sandwiches, but they specialise in breakfasts, and they could do a good veggie one, so I had a massive breakfast.
Nice, tasty, cheap, friendly, but don't expect too much from the setting of the place, and don't look at the fsa rating before you go there...
