We put together Thing one's birthday present of the lego high speed train set, here's the first bit of it 1...
We got more track too and built the other carriages so it's quite a bit bigger now. We still need more track, so if you were thinking of buying me a birthday present and are not sure what I'd like some lego train track too... It's annoyingly expensive for how little you get in the box, so I'm going to look into making some to run outside, like I've seen on some youtube vids. All I need to do is get two parallel bits of plywood or something that is the right distance apart, how hard can it be? Would be nice to see this running in the garden, as we could have a bigger setup then. The only motorised bits are in the engines themselves, it's all remote control there's no current running through the track.
