He finally won the merit cup at school. Every time they do good work at his school they get a number of tickets that go into a tombola and then once a week they draw it and that person is the winner of the merit cup for the week. So the better you do the better your chance, but you could still easily go your whole school life and never win it, and also some people have won in twice in a month. He's been doing so well with his work recently that I'm very glad and proud that he's won it this week.
Also swimming went great today, number one son was an example for the rest of the class. The other kids were told to stop and watch him as he totally nailed the backstroke.
