Have now installed Rocket Player on my phone and it's sending the track info to the in care display again, AND it still does the shuffling that the built in sony walkman app could not do. The thing that was missing from the last app I used was apparently avrcp 1.3. So that's what you're looking for if you are missing your phone sending artist and song title and so on from the id3 tags to the display of your car stereo over the bluetooth.
