Totally Macgyvered my way into the house...
The cat is fed, and everything is good... Got into the house without doing any damage. I won't go into details here because I don't want to give anyone else tips on how to get into someone's house, but it was nice to use some of my best tools. The house is all secure again, the issue was a key left in the lock on the inside as we suspected, so we've retrieved that, fed the cat, tidied up, and come away with extra keys just to be on the safe side. No damage, no locksmith, so no expense, and no mess.
