Blog2015 ≫ Pebble is here!

Had to take out five links from the watch strap. It came with a leather strap, no good for me so I paid extra for the steel bracelet. And it's huge! Still might take out one more link. Pebble themselves say "if you want to adjust it, better take it to a shop" but good old youtube tutorials1 did it fine.

It's a really nice looking watch, just chunky enough, reassuringly 1980s... and it's proper waterproof down to five atmospheres, more than enough to do the washing up anyway. I should go swimming soon the watch can monitor my swimming2 I think...

I've installed the app, and hey the watch is telling the time nicely thanks! I've not installed any other apps on the phone yet, not quite sure how to, might be my phone that is not quite up to the job. I can't get the email notifications on it yet as my phone is out of space, still need to to a bit of a jiggle around there. All the test notifications work nicely, so if I get a call or an sms it'll show up on my wrist. Now to get developing for it3!

Went to physio this morning, and it definitley did me good! Well the walk to the royal vic from where Clare dropped me off did me good, then I had a relaxing 45 minute wait with my book that did me good. Then it looks like I've increased my flexibility since last time, did have about 30 straight degree leg movement last time and was up to 45 degrees this time. So physio does not want to see me again for three months, this is good. Then, feeling good about it all I walked all the way home. Wish I'd had a pedometer on, I should get me some sort of smart watch with fitness capabilities or something...
