Blog2015 ≫ You should get a Laura Ashley console table

We have one of these1, it's very nice. Maybe a slightly useless piece of furniture where we have it, but maybe not. We use it more or less as a sideboard, it's next to the sofa with the remote controls in the drawer and the fruit bowl and telephone on top. Our room is not configured in the best way really, as we have an actual sideboard unit too with our TV on top of it. Would be nice to reconfigure the room, put the TV on the wall, but needs some rewiring too.

Got a flyer through the door from a local electrician so I'm going to give him a call on payday, get him to:

Had trailing wires in the playroom because the socket I planned in specially does not work (possibly because I drilled through it). The outside light pir is triggering, I can hear it click, but there is no light. Have tried new bulbs. The two way lighting in the hall is working, but it's a bit odd, I have one switch that we can't use. The two way lighting uses remote controls and all is good. But if you turn one of the old switches off then it disconnects the circuit between the two hallways, this is rubbish.

I'd really like remote control for the lights in the en-suite too, but they're connected to the extractor, so they can't have a dimmer. So I'd need help fitting something there.
