Number two son has been under the weather over the weekend and now he has spots, on his hands and face and body. Clare has taken him to the doctor so I'm working from home today in case he has something super infectious, don't want to spread it around at work...
UPDATE: they're back now and as we suspected it might be more than one thing. The rash on his hands is not like the spots on his face or his body, so they have given him antibiotics for what might be impetigo and they have given him nothing at all for what might be hand foot and mouth too. He's happy enough now and his temperature is ok again.
Number two son was meant to start nursery today, so that is off. Clare called them and they have chickenpox there too, what a lovely combo. I'm sure he picked up this lurgy when he was doing two trial days there next week... Hope he can start at nursery soon so he doesn't miss out.
