Read and really enjoyed a Wallander novel The Dogs Of Riga1, so what to read next? Going to be sitting up for a while waiting to see if Clare comes back from the hospice tonight. Her phone battery is now flat, and she might stay over, so probably I should just go to bed.
Been playing on the raspberry pi tonight, nothing's simple though is it? Trying the one wire temperature probe, did not work though, not sure if I've connected it up correctly. At least nothing shorted out. Then gave the piface control and display a go, am now operating the lights from an old sky remote. I could set this up as a universal remote now I think, a proper one, that could control my rf devices as well as the ir ones, so might try that next.
What to read next..? Clare recommended The Luminaries, will see if I can find it...
