Clare was working today, she's doing nearly every saturday at the moment in exchange for a day in the week. I was up really early, could not sleep for some reason, so even though it was my lie-in today I got up first. Had an idea about a computer thing, so got up and did that. It worked, this website now scores 98% on the google page speed rankings, which is pretty nice. It was 90% anyway, but still a nice improvement. I can take the idea into work on Monday and gain a small improvement on the work I'm doing there too, though won't get up to 98% because of all the third party tracking tags we have to include, they drag the score down... the only thing stopping me getting 100% from google is their own ad tags that I put on the site, you think they'd sort that out...
Mostly we watched TV and I did housework today, though we did take a scoot down to the beach to look at the massive earth movers that are there at the moment reinforcing the beach. Was a really nice bright day today, lovely light, but of course I forgot my camera.If it is nice again tomorrow we'll go back and I'll get some pictures of
So I'm still up first tomorrow too, no way Clare could or would swap with me as she is outin Canterbury tonight, very nice! I am not sure if I will catch up on George Clarke on the TV or do some computer or arduino stuff yet. I'm making spicy vege burgers, got some burger mix and some Patak's jalfrezi paste, see how that works out.
Right, In The Night Garden is finished so it's time to put number two son to bed. Number one son is already in his pyjamas and is playing on another computer so he'll go next, then it's on to my cooking! Got some potato wedges partly prepared too.
