Blog2014 ≫ Good trip to France

Looks like I got 27 bottles of wine on our afternoon jaunt to Cite Europe plus some beer, cider, food and a tonne of mustard. The mustard particularly tickled my travelling companions for some reason.

Still got some of the wine left too! Have only drunk the Gerard Bertrand shiraz so far. I said to myself I'd be sure to open one tonight that I had more than one of, so if it was really good I could have some more. Like a fool I didn't follow my own advice, that's gone and now I have to drink something else. Bought a load of Gerard Bertrand wine, quite a lot of it white though.

I saw a lot of KISS, AC/DC and Slayer wine, and also the Iron Maiden beer there in a great wine shop in Cite Europe downstairs, where the Tesco wine shop used to be. It's about 50% beer now, a really great place. I bought a KISS] beer, just the one, just to leave on the shelf really, something nice to go on display in my study. The heavy metal wine all looked overpriced and american, but you never know.

A really nice afternoon, would liked to have spent more time there. Cheers to Dom and Dean for the suggestion.
