Was it Windows XP or was it even older than that? Whatever it was it's now gone, I'm posting this from my aged desktop PC which is now sporting Debian. I had to drag the PC upstairs in the end to wire it up while installing but it all went without a hitch and it's now wireless. I hope there was nothing left on it that was not backed up anywhere, it's all gone now. For a while now it's only had my pictures and music and they're all duplicated across the NAS and an external backup drive (and mostly some only space rented from the google.
Now what?
