Blog2014 ≫ Secret Seven

Quite pleased that I got away with a couple of audiobooks for the journey to and from Mum and Dad's at the weekend, a Secret Seven there and a Secret Seven back again. Number one son was into them and number two son didn't complain either. I asked Number one son if he'd like to try one of the books for his bed time story and he was very keen, so I dug out a big box of books from the loft. Have found some more that I think he's about ready for but he won't look at anything else until all the Secret Sevens are gone. He will not look at Famous Five which I thought would also appeal, I think I pushed him into them too early, also they are even more old fashioned. I have more that are also old The Five Find Outers that were my favourites, maybe we'll get away with one of these next... all Enid Blyton of course.

Swimming yesterday was OK, not a raging success. I'm not very impressed with the lessons we have now, they don't seem to notice what our boy is even doing. There is one instructor who is good the others seem to be going through the motions and chatting with the other instructors. We don't have any choice right now though can't get him into any other lessons, so I suppose it's better than nothing.

I'm going to spend the rest of my lunch reading about the five find outers, I didn't know there were adaptations...
