This pay day I ordered a new raspberry pi camera module because I fried my old one (approx 20), plus a 99p cable for it so I can position it further from the pi itself, plus a couple of dimmable led candle bulbs for the dining room. One of our bulbs had gone, I thought I'd treat myself and replace them with even more energy saving versions. Pleased with them, they feel really substantial and look good (this are in wall sconces and so on show) and take me down from the previous 28w per bulb to 4w per bulb. We'll see tonight if they're up to the job...
That whole delivery comes in at a weight of about 50g, very tiny light things. So why was the parcel so heavy when it arrived? Had they thrown in a freebie? Had I accidentally ordered a new car battery for the shed computer without realising? No, they had included their new "big book" catalogue, weighing in at 3KG! It's a whopper.
