Blog2014 ≫ At least we gave it a try

I convinced Clare we should try and watch Hamish McBeth yesterday - he's a police, it's got to be a crime drama of some description hasn't it? It is not, absolutely nothing happened in the episode we watched. Well, nearly watched, we watched half of it. I will try and give the second half of it a go, but I'm pretty sure nothing is going to happen. We chose this instead of the new Crimes of Passion scandocrime on BBC4, a mistake. We also watched more Veronica Mars over the weekend, we're going to run out soon though, don't know what will happen after that.

I had another Monday off yesterday, have really got used to those, and now they have ended. Number one son is back at school on Friday, so next week will be a full week of work for me. Full apart from the "continuous integration forum" jolly I'm going to in London on the Tuesday. That will actually be a longer harder day than being at work, as it'll mean an earlier start and a train up to London, but at least it will break the week up.
