Kipp's is more my sort of place, Clare liked it too. I had a sampler of ciders, three 1/3 pints, they were all a bit sweet though. Most of the ciders they had on sounded too fruity, strawberry and cherry and things I think, and the ales were all light and summery, where I prefer the darker stuff. Still a lovely place though, quite a few people in and a nice atmosphere. Clare and I sat and played cribbage while we drank, it was a compromise, I didn't want a long game of scrabble. While we were there the fireworks from the harbour festival started, and we could see them from our seats, we had a sort of view through The Bayle, see here:
