We at in Googies, as we'd tried to go there recently with the boys but found it just too slow to get served at lunch, which is no use when we are a) with the impatient boys and b) limited by parking time, so we thought we'd come back when we were in less of a hurry. On a Saturday night it was fine, quite quiet really. The food was good (though the menu has changed a lot and it's less vegetarian / vegan friendly than it was, they dumped all the vege burgers), the beer was good and the service was quick. They have lost the performance / gig space downstairs too, possibly to make the kitchen bigger. Not sure what the plans are for that place, it was nice enough though. So just time for another drink before home!
