Blog2014 ≫ Birthday weekender: Soprano's

Slightly in fear of eating in a chain restaurant, did not want to feel the wrath of Ro. He is very disdainful of us eating in chains, but the last time we followd his advice we had a disappointing Thai meal on Elm Grove. This time we found our own independent restaurant, fancied Italian so found Soprano's. And it was excellent! I had an adapted arrabiata, had a lot of veg in it. Can't quite remember what Clare had as got a bit drunk quite quickly, not used to going out at all. Before this I only had two pints in The Dolphin and a glass of vino collapso in All Bar One but I was pretty tipsy. Anyway, fabulous meal, recommend this place, we'll go back again.

Next stop: trying to walk to the station I think, planning to stop in the White Swan brewhouse pub on the way. Yeah that didn't quite work out...
