Blog2014 ≫ Not another rare night out

Not a rare night out, but a trip to the pub none the less. Spent yesterday in the Duke of Cumberland in Barham yesterday, in honour of Kev and family visiting. That's the good part, the less good part is that I had to drive, so couldn't feel the benefit of their excellent beers and ciders. Also food not ideal for me, I'm sure they could have done something if I'd called in advance but I did not. Weather not great for playing in their big beer garden but the children had a good time anyway. Number one son loved playing with his cousins, and number two son slept for a good part of it and then did lots of running away. He is a proper absconder, wants to be wherever you don't want him to be.

With that long lunch and then taking Clare to work and picking her up again, that was the whole of my bank holiday day.
