Had a rare night out on Friday (making that a link because I do seem to say that fairly often, even though it is rare, we hardly ever go out). We did a babysitting swap with a friend, and went to Saffron. It was against her advice actually, and I'd say she was right. It was a nice evening out, but the food there wasn't that great, just not at all spicy. It's a nice place, nice atmosphere and that but the food was just not hot enough for our tastes. We had four different dishes, and two different rices, and bread, to give different things a try. We even had a bottle of wine and the food did not even overpower that.
