Watched Source Code1 tonight, a film I started years ago but possibly fell asleep during. It was just on Film Four, so we finally watched it all. It was alright, a nice idea, not sure the ending entirely worked, but we enjoyed it.
Been working HARD today, character encoding again. I have not actually solved the issue but think I have finally made all of the symptoms go away.
Oh and our toaster has broken. We're going to buy another Dualit but are compromising massively. I want one of these1 really, as that is the same as the one that has just packed in. Even though it has failed us, we've had it for about ten years. I have repaired it once, though it's the element that has gone this time. So instead of getting another one of those1 we're going for the cheaper option1 and I'm going to try and repair the original again. This way it doesn't matter if I take weeks / months / years over it. I even signed up for another trial of amazone prime so we'll get the new toaster in a hurry.
Had a look at the amazon prime video offering, but it's not as good as I thought it was going to be. It all seems to be things that have already been on TV, it's not the full range of what Amazon / Love Film offer. There's no Breaking Bad for example. Have cancelled amazon prime again already.
